Sidemount Diver
Welcome to the IDDA’s Sidemount Diver course!
Sidemount diving is a popular type of diving where the regulators and tanks are worn on the side of the body instead of on the back. This allows for better control of the equipment and more freedom of movement in the water. It increases safety and allows you to dive more safely in tight and convoluted areas.
In this course you will learn how to properly set up, wear and care for sidemount equipment. You will learn how to dive safely and effectively with sidemount equipment and how to avoid or handle emergencies.
The course includes both theory and practical sessions and you will use the sidemount equipment under the guidance of an experienced instructor to put your learning into practice.
We look forward to accompanying you on your diving adventure.
