Emergency Assistance
Welcome to the IDDA Emergency Assistance Course!
You will learn how to act correctly in emergency situations and how to save yourself and other divers. You will learn how to make emergency calls and what information is important to initiate a quick and effective rescue operation. In the course, you will learn about the different types of emergencies that can occur while diving and the actions necessary to assist and rescue divers who are in distress.
You will also learn how to properly administer first aid in emergencies. You will be able to respond quickly and correctly to emergencies and summon professional help if necessary.
In addition, you will learn how to prepare for emergencies and what rules and behaviors can help minimize the risk of emergencies.
The IDDA “Emergency Assistance” course is a very practical course, which is accompanied by theoretical lessons.
It is also a required course for becoming an IDDA professional.
