Welcome to the DPV / Scooter course of the IDDA!

Want to take your diving adventure to the next level and let an Underwater Scooter (also known as DPV, “Diver Propulsion Vehicle”) propel you through the underwater world?

Diving with a scooter is a top trend in diving right now and allows you to travel great distances in less time and see more of the dive site. It increases your comfort and safety while diving and allows you to experience more exciting dives.

In this course you will learn how to use a scooter safely and effectively. You will learn how to control the scooter and how to properly maintain and care for it. You will also learn how to safely and responsibly dive with the scooter and how to avoid or handle emergencies.

The course includes both theory and practical sessions and you will use the scooter under the guidance of an experienced instructor to put your learning into practice.
