Welcome to the IDDA Group Guide Course!
Another step towards becoming an IDDA Professional:
In the IDDA “Group Guide” course you will learn the principles to take responsibility for a dive group above and below water. These are basic leadership skills that will be further developed in the Divemaster course.
You will learn how to safely and effectively lead and manage a group of divers. The course covers the theory and practice of group management, including safety procedures that must be followed to avoid accidents and emergencies.
You will learn how to recognize and address the needs and abilities of individual group members to ensure that each diver has an enjoyable and safe diving experience. This includes understanding the communication techniques and signals necessary for the safe operation of the group.
In the course, you will also learn how to check and organize the group’s equipment, as well as how to handle emergencies and summon professional help. You will also learn how to create and implement a dive plan based on the skills and needs of the group.
