Ice Diver
Welcome to the IDDA Ice Diver course!
Ice Diving is just the next extreme challenge you are looking for!
You will learn how to dive safely and effectively under ice. The course covers the theory and practice of ice diving, including the safety procedures that must be followed to avoid accidents and emergencies. Because ice diving is an OE (overhead environment), special measures are required.
You will learn how to safely open and dive an ice hole, as well as how to conduct yourself in a hypothermic environment. This includes understanding the special equipment and techniques required for ice diving, such as dry suits and underwater floodlights.
In the course, you will also learn how to prepare for extreme conditions and how to handle emergencies that may occur while ice diving.
We look forward to joining you on your diving adventure.
