Wreck Diving

Welcome to the IDDA’s Wreck Diving Course!

In this course you will be prepared for the challenges of diving on wrecks and learn how to prepare for these types of dives safely and professionally. You will learn how to recognize and assess wrecks, how to safely navigate on wrecks, and how to use special equipment and techniques to safely dive in these environments. You will also learn how to care for the environment and wreck safety, and how to respect wrecks as underwater monuments.

The course includes both theory and practical sessions and you will dive on wrecks under the guidance of an experienced instructor to put into practice what you have learned. You will learn how to move safely on wrecks, how to avoid or handle emergencies and how to learn interesting information about the wreck and its history.
